Blake: So, I assume you all noticed my new accessories. I was spending some time recovering in the hospital. Now I know you all watched origins and you might have noticed... some things went down.
Blake: Connoly and I were in the ring, doing what we do, giving you all a great match and were on track for a memorable main event. We were taking each other to our limits, and we were both pretty spent, but both of us still had a lot of fight in us. Then things took a turn.
It looks like our good old GM D-Maniac has some enemies, I mean who doesn't in this business. I mean take me as an example, I've been around for about a month and I already have guys waiting to jump me the moment my back is turned. So D-Maniac and this guy Dreamslasher are going at it. I'm thinking what do I do? I mean here the title is on the line, but this insanity is going down. Do I work with Connoly and go help? Do I keep fighting with Connoly and try to win the title? Do I...
Then things went black.
I woke up a few days later, that is right days, not hours DAYS! Of course I have no idea what is going on. I guess word got out that I was doing better because the next day I found an unlabeled dvd sitting in a gift basket with a card. Card was mostly blank. Said watch. Don't know who from. Could be an ally (Do I even have any of those?), our GM D-Maniac, Connoly, an old opponent, Dreamslasher, or dozens of other possibilities. So I watch it and some dudes ran out and took me and Connoly out with some chairs. Nothing too shocking.
So naturally I have some curiosity about that. Origins ended in chaos. In that chaos the title bout ended in a draw. So as if I didn't have enough questions about the attack now I'm curious how all of this title stuff is going to work itself out. Now I don't know how D-Maniac or Connoly are doing, I've been set up with a bit of extra security and was escorted from my car to the locker room, then to the ring. And based on what has happened so far it seems like they will be joining me in the bathroom and spooning with me tonight. In that case, would an attractive female bodyguard be too difficult?
This security thing was probably my father. He tends to get a little protective when I am beaten into a near coma. But dealing with a bit of security is worth the ability to keep this dream of a wrestling career alive. So if anyone needs me, I will be in my locker room being watched like a hawk by Bosco and Frank over there. I am medically cleared to compete tonight if the powers that be want that to happen. So, I guess I will leave it at that and turn it over to the every lovely and beautiful Paranormal, my biggest fan, and Iron Maiden.
Blake is escorted to the back by the bodyguards.
Paranormal: I don't understand this man's obsession with me.
Iron Maiden: Well he seems to be inferring you are a mindless fan girl for Blake.
Paranormal: What? I hate the guy!!! And I am clearly no chick!
Iron Maiden: I think he just likes getting a rise out of you.
Paranormal: Well, I just have to go on record and say that I think rich boy hired the goons to cause the chaos because he knew that he could not beat Connoly.
Iron Maiden: You are entitled to your opinion, but I have to say that that might be the dumbest thing you have said. He has been doing so much without manipulating people with money that I just find it out of character for him to do something like that.
Paranormal: Well, you continue believing in him, and when the truth comes out I will be right here.
Iron Maiden: Well, you have one thing right. All we can do is wait and see how this situation develops. The Wasteland is in turmoil and all we can do is wait.
